Curtis Rippee - Principal

Curtis has more than 20 years of financial management experience. His leadership includes serving as the Chief Financial Officer of several small to mid-sized private companies, and as the Chief Accounting Officer and Vice President of Finance and Administration for a publicly traded company.

Curtis began his professional career in public accounting with PriceWaterhouseCoopers before moving into industry. Curtis served in various management positions for companies such as Baylor Health Care System, Monarch Dental Corporation, Holligan Investment Group, etc. before starting Stratifi Partners.

As a Principal of StratiFi Partners, Curtis has worked with companies in the healthcare, dental practice management, technology, financial services, engineering, contractor and real estate industries assisting them in becoming more successful.

He has a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of Missouri and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Curtis is active in his church and serves on several not-for-profit boards including Avenues Counseling, McKinney Education Foundation and is Treasurer for the Dallas Roundtable.

Lance Spivey – Principal

Lance is an executive with over 17 years of experience in financial and operational management. His leadership in the healthcare industry encompasses roles in finance, accounting and operations, including 5 years as Vice President of a large physician network.

Lance has focused experience in health care joint ventures, strategic financial modeling and analysis, physician practice governance and leadership, physician compensation, ambulatory surgery center financial management, physician-owned hospital financial management.

As a Principal of StratiFi Partners, LLC, a CFO services firm, Lance focuses on physicians and their related healthcare ventures (physician practices, ambulatory surgery centers, imaging centers, physician-owned hospitals such as LTACH’s and Rehab Hospitals) to assist them in becoming more successful.

Lance began his career with Arthur Andersen LLP working in the Audit and Business Advisory practice with retail and healthcare clients. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Baylor University, a Master of Business Administration (with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration) from the University of Colorado and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

Steve Riley - Principal

Steve has more than 16 years of financial and management experience in the areas of Auditing, Accounting and Financial Analysis.

Steve began his professional career with the Baylor Health Care System in Internal Audit and has served in various management positions from Assistant Controller of a Columbia Healthcare hospital to Director of Financial Analysis for Monarch Dental Corporation.

As a Principal of StratiFi Partners, Steve has worked directly with business owners over the last 5 years, helping them make better business decisions.

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting Control Systems from the University of North Texas, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

Todd Stracener - Director

Todd joined StratiFi Partners in February 2009. He brings over 15 years of financial management and accounting experience with various healthcare provider organizations to the company. Todd has served as Reimbursement Director, Controller, and VP of Finance for small to medium size Hospital, Homecare, and Pharmacy service providers.

Todd holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Tech University, a Masters of Business Administration in Health Services Management from the University of Dallas, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

Michelle Simon - Senior Analyst

Michelle joined StratiFi in March 2008. Michelle has over 15 years of finance and business development experience within several industries, including healthcare, media, internet, aerospace, airline, and travel & leisure.

Michelle earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Christian University and a Masters in Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.

Nick Norcross - Analyst

Nick joined StratiFi Partners in October 2009. He previously worked in commercial banking as an analyst in the small business lending group, and has experience in a number of industries ranging from construction to manufacturing to health care. Most recently, Nick handled analysis and strategy development for problem loans and managed a portfolio of foreclosed properties.

Nick holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Ouachita Baptist University.

Tracy Pidgeon

Tracy Pidgeon - Analyst

Tracy joined the StratiFi team in June 2007. She brings with her 9 years of bookkeeping and banking experience. The majority of her experience was with the 95th Services Division – a governmental agency at Edwards AFB in the Mojave Desert.

Kathy Carlton - Business Manager

Kathy joined StratiFi in May 2006 as the Business Manager - a newly created position for the company due to the tremendous amount of growth in recent months. Kathy, who has 11 years of administrative experience in the retail industry and six years in the consulting industry, primarily coordinates administrative support for StratiFi Partners.
