StratiFi is looking for an experienced leader, who can play the role of a player-coach – set product strategy and roadmaps, lead the engineering team, set the example with best-in-class capability and process. Must have experience at a rapidly growing startup, or cutting edge teams at a larger tech company, or building systems and technology for financial services firms is ideal.
Your role will be to develop and enhance infrastructure that supports a high quality investing platform with a focus on automation and new features. Your work will scale the platform in line with company goals. As part of a small team at an early stage company you’ll have a direct impact on the company’s future by driving the set of features that make us a leading FinTech company.
Motivation and Experience For An Early Stage Startup:
Passion to build a great product that impacts the way people invest
5+ years of work experience
Prior work experience at a notable start up and/or software company writing production quality code
Ability to work independently, execute under pressure and take ownership
Ability to write super clean code that is optimized for speed
Keen interest in FinTech
Must Haves:
Mastery of Django/Flask/Python and Shell scripting
Understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
Responsibilities:
Drive technical, architectural, and organizational decisions, making sure we build a scalable, efficient, and maintainable infrastructure.
Maintain the security of StratiFi’s platform and enforce strict patient data safeguards.
Evolve StratiFi engineering through best practices, coding guidelines, and design documents, ensuring the organization as a whole feels cutting-edge, top-notch, and is a great team to work on.
Optimize interactions between engineering and other functions, e.g product management, design, operations, marketing, etc.
Attract A-player teammates.
Be a great player-coach by being able to get deep into code but also help engineers grow through mentorship.
Increase awareness of the cutting edge technology component of the StratiFi brand.
